Dr. Mahesh Maharjan

Dr. Mahesh Maharjan is a respected academic and researcher from Nepal, known for his contributions to interdisciplinary studies and community-based initiatives. With a strong background in education and development, Dr. Maharjan has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and outreach, particularly focusing on sustainable practices, local knowledge systems, and youth empowerment. He is widely recognized for his commitment to bridging traditional wisdom with modern academic inquiry, and for promoting inclusive and participatory development models in Nepal.

Dr. Kanti Shrestha

Former Chief Scientific Officer, NAST | CEO, PALTC – Nature’s Molecule Industry, Lalitpur

Dr. Kanti Shrestha is a leading Nepali scientist in natural products research, with over 30 years of experience in medicinal plants, bioactive compounds, and laboratory science. She has also worked extensively to bridge traditional knowledge with modern science, particularly in the context of Nepal’s rich ethnobotanical heritage.

She formerly served as Chief Scientific Officer at the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), playing a key role in advancing national research and innovation. Currently, as CEO of the Pacific Analytical Laboratory and Training Center (PALTC), she leads efforts in applied research, laboratory capacity-building, and scientific support for Nepal’s pharmaceutical and herbal industries.

Dr. Shrestha continues to be a respected mentor, promoting evidence-based integration of traditional practices into modern scientific frameworks.
